When you search for where to go in Malaysia, Taiping never appears on the list... yet the city is flooded with history! Taiping was the earliest innovator in Malaysia and founded some of the earliest buildings of their kind.... Prisons, English Churches, Museums, Railway Stations & More.. We venture around the city surrounded by green and have a look at some of it's earliest structures that date back to the 19th century with a strong British influence. We LOVED Melaka (Malacca), but we feel Taiping doesn't get the love and appreciation that it deserves for such a historical place.
