The governors rose from a meeting in Lagos on Monday where they reviewed the state of the nation especially the security situation, anti-open grazing law in all Member States they also reiterated their demand for State Police. Meanwhile, the Northern leaders have reacted with mixed feelings to the communique of the meeting while giving conditions for the South to consider. SENATE SCREENING: LAURETTA ONOCHIE DENIES APC Presidential media aide, Lauretta Onochie has denied being a member of the All Progressives Congress during her screening. This was her position before the Senate Committee on the Independent National Electoral Commission which is considering her nomination for the position of INEC national Commissioner. Meanwhile, more documents are coming to public domain suggesting that Lauretta Onochie may have lied to the senate about her resignation from active politics.
