Rough arrangements are for concept only, consisting of low-quality samples, and may not have been entirely mixed or panned. They exist to demonstrate the arrangement planned for the future Might and Magic I~V arranged album consisting of combination of high-quality sample libraries and/or live instruments. This is a lengthy arrangement incorporating elements from all soundcard and ported versions of the Castle Theme. While this theme is used in all castles in the game, the more sci-fi feeling PC-98 and FM-TOWNS ported versions are much more fitting for Castle Xeen alone. But hopefully the arrangement does well covering the party's quest through all of the castles, and ending at Xeen. The quality of the tones/samples in light of mixing and making them more real could have been done, but I see no reason to spend that type of time when the entire prototype would be planned to be redone from scratch anyway for a final version... The original concept was for each of the environment themes to have several random 'tags' from where to start and end the music. The only two that may have been composed were for the castle theme. There didn't appear to be a good way to incorporate these into the arrangement itself, but, no wanting to omitting anything for completeness, I kept them isolated at the end.
