Cook something cheesy with the flavours of corn, a perfect appetizer to lighten up the mood!!!
Ingredients Required to make Corn Cheese Balls -
Processed Cheese - 1 Cup
Corn Kernels - 1 Cup Crushed
Cornstarch - 1 Tablespoon
Green Chilli - 1 Teaspoon Chopped
Red Chilli Powder - 1 Teaspoon
Garam Masala - 1 Teaspoon
Salt - To Taste
Baking Soda - 1/2 Teaspoon
Coriander leaves - 1 Teaspoon chopped
Maida - 1/2 Cup
Method to make Corn Cheese Balls -
1. Mix together crushed sweet corn kernels, processed cheese, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, green chilli, cornstarch, baking soda, maida, and coriander leaves in a bowl.
2. Dampen your palms with some water, divide the dough into equal portions and shape into balls.
3. Refrigerate the balls for an hour.
4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
5. Put the prepared balls in hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
6. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
