Eggless Spongy Cake Recipe -
Ingredients -
1 cup Semolina (Sooji) (approx. 150 gram)
1 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup nuts [chopped Cashew nuts (Kaju) and Almonds (Badam)]
1 tblsp Coco Powder
1/4 cup melted Butter (alternative is oil or ghee but also add 1 pinch salt along with oil or ghee, as butter is salty that is why salt is not required if prepared with butter)
1/2 cup fresh Curd (Dahi)
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
110 - 120 ml milk (Used to prepare the dough as required)
3/4 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 Butter Paper
Badam and Pista (slit into two halves) (soaked in hot water for 1/2 hour and skin peeled off)
Walnuts (Sliced into halves)
Tutty Fruities and Cherries for decoration
